MBRGI Hosts Suhoor Event for Global Humanitarian Leaders

Dubai: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is organizing a Suhoor event tomorrow, coinciding with the Most Noble Number charity auction. This event, held at the Armani Dubai Hotel at Burj Khalifa, aims to bring together prominent donors, business leaders, and international humanitarian organizations in support of the Edge of Life campaign, which seeks to rescue five million children from hunger.

According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign was launched during Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, with the goal of raising a minimum of AED1 billion to combat childhood hunger worldwide. The gathering, organized in collaboration with Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy, highlights efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships between the business and philanthropic sectors to support global humanitarian causes.

The Most Noble Number charity auction, facilitated by MBRGI in collaboration with Emirates Auction and supported by RTA, e, and du, will feature 29 unique numbers, including 9 special RTA plate numbers, 10 premium du mobile numbers, and 10 premium e mobile numbers. Prominent figures and philanthropists will participate, showing their commitment to the Edge of Life campaign, organized in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and Action Against Hunger.

The campaign aims to provide nutritional access and protection for children threatened by hunger, promoting values of compassion and solidarity. Contributions to the campaign continue to be welcomed through various channels, including the campaign's website, a dedicated call center, bank transfers, SMS, and platforms like the DubaiNow app, YallaGive.com, and Jood.ae.
