Minister of Finance Meets World Bank Group President, Attends Signing of Work Agreement Between Two Sides

HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held a meeting with HE President of the World Bank Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund "IMF" and the World Bank Group "WBG" held between April 15-20 of 2024 in Washington DC.Topics pertaining to mutual interests, particularly in the financial and international development work, were discussed during the meeting, as well as measures aimed at broadening the scope of joint cooperation.There was also the signing of a work agreement between the State of Qatar, represented by the Education Above All Foundation, and the World Bank Group, in Washington DC, in the United States of America. The signing was attended by HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari and HE President of the World Bank Ajay Banga.The two parties concluded a mutually beneficial agreement with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation and advisory services.Source: Qatar News Agency
