Mohammed bin Rashid Attends Graduation Ceremony of Nafis Leadership Programme First Cohort.

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the first cohort of the Nafis Leadership Programme. The event was organised by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) in collaboration with the UAE Government Leaders Programme and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony took place during the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2024 in Abu Dhabi. It was also attended by notable dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council. Other attendees included His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, among others.Launched last year, the inaugural edition of the Nafis Leadership Programme offered participants 1 70 hours of intensive training. This included face-to-face and virtual interactive workshops, along with field visits within the UAE and abroad. The Programme aims to cultivate innovative thinking and empower participants to apply modern leadership concepts and theories through direct engagement with leading experts.A significant component of the Programme was an educational trip to Singapore, where participants studied the nation's advanced business leadership model. They visited the National University of Singapore, which is ranked among the world's top eight universities and is a leading institution in Asia.Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of ETCC, emphasized the Programme's alignment with the vision of the UAE leadership, supported by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Al Mazrouei expressed pride in the graduating cohort, highlighting the rigorous selection process they underwent, which included stringent assessments by accredited training entities.Khaled Sharaf, Director o f the UAE Government Leaders Programme, noted that the graduation marks a significant step in the UAE Government's commitment to developing national talent. He highlighted the Programme's role in promoting sustainable growth and supporting the 'We the UAE 2031' vision, aiming to boost economic productivity and position the UAE as a global hub for the new economy.The Nafis Leadership Programme aligns with the 'National Employment Strategy 2031', aiming to attract, develop, and empower Emirati talent in the workforce. It is one of the flagship programmes under ETCC, building upon initiatives launched in partnership with sector leaders to develop and employ young Emirati talent across key industries. The Programme offers specialised training that adds considerable value to the capabilities of the Emirati workforce.
