Mohammed bin Rashid Highlights Dubai Airshow as Testament to UAE’s Vision for Future

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized the significance of the Dubai Airshow as a prime example of the UAE's forward-looking vision. The airshow underscores the nation's efforts to establish itself as a global hub for aviation, space, and defense innovation.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event, held at Dubai World Central, has consistently been a platform for global aviation industry leaders and experts to explore new opportunities and spearhead technological advancements. On the eve of the event's opening, Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the UAE's commitment to strengthening partnerships and developing solutions that benefit humanity and foster sustainable growth across various sectors.

Sheikh Mohammed stated that over the years, the Dubai Airshow has become one of the world's leading aerospace and technology platforms, drawing significant international participation. It has emerged as a preferred venue for unveiling the latest innovations and technologies, serving as an open laboratory for advancing ideas that are reshaping the future of key industries.

The Ruler of Dubai expressed that the exhibition embodies the UAE's dedication to building an integrated aviation system and enhancing its role as a reliable partner in developing innovative defense solutions. This commitment is driven by the belief that investing in science and technology is crucial for securing the future of nations.

The event, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed, marks its 19th edition, running until November 21. It showcases the latest trends, innovations, and industry developments, reinforcing its status as a pivotal event in the aviation and aerospace sector.

This edition of the airshow is the largest to date, featuring over 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 newcomers, and attracting 148,000 visitors and 490 civil and military delegations from 115 countries. Among the 21 national pavilions, Morocco is making its debut. The event also includes 98 chalets, 120 startups, 50 investors, and an 8,000-square-meter exhibition area.
