Dubai: In his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who also serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister, has issued Decree No. (21) of 2025. This decree establishes the Board of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, with H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum appointed as its Chairman.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decree appoints Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri as the Vice Chairman of the Board. The Board will also include members such as Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, along with representatives from various key entities including Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, the General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai, and others. These representatives will be nominated by the heads of their respective organizations.
The decree is set to be effective immediately from its date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
