Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has called on citizens and residents across the country to raise the UAE flag on homes, institutions, and buildings. This initiative is aimed at promoting unity and reinforcing national identity, emphasizing the flag's role as a unifying symbol within society.
According to Emirates News Agency, Mohammed bin Rashid highlighted the UAE's recent challenges, noting that the country faced these with strong cohesion and emerged more aligned and united. This unity was visible across society, including both citizens and residents, and spanned public and private sectors. He stated, "The UAE faced recent challenges united and has come through them stronger and more cohesive. Everyone stood behind one flag. The UAE flag reflects our strength and what we have built as a country. I invite everyone to raise it across homes and workplaces."
He further expressed pride in the nation, the leadership, the Armed Forces, the economy, and the contributions of all citizens and residents who propel the country forward daily. His Highness concluded, "Let the flag be raised across every home and every building. It reflects unity and a shared sense of belonging across."
