A delegation from the working group on artificial intelligence (AI) in the Moroccan House of Representatives visited the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) today to learn about its expertise in data technologies and AI. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.During the visit, a workshop was held to review SDAIA's data and AI efforts and its contributions to enhancing digital transformation in Saudi Arabia. The workshop focused on advanced applications and technologies that have elevated the Kingdom to a leading data and AI position with the support of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SDAIA.The Moroccan delegation was briefed on SDAIA's efforts to build Saudi data and AI capabilities through its academy, including camps and training programs in partnership with academic institutions and international technology companies. The upcoming Global AI Summit in Riyadh from September 10 - 12 was highlighted. The delegation was briefed on SDAIA's efforts in data governance and the ethical use of AI technologies to improve quality of life and maximize economic and social impact.The Moroccan delegation also reviewed the working group's efforts on AI in the Moroccan House of Representatives, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation opportunities between the two countries and exchanging AI experiences.Source: Saudi Press Agency
