Abu dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended a reception hosted by Maria Camilleri Calleja, Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the UAE, to celebrate Malta’s National Day.
According to Emirates News Agency, Ambassador Camilleri commended the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and highlighted the strong relations between Malta and the UAE. She emphasized Malta’s dedication to enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors, noting that the UAE continues to be Malta’s primary trading partner in the region.
The reception also saw the presence of Dr. Michael Falzon, Malta’s Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights, Omar Al Neyadi, Director of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with members of the UAE-Malta Parliamentary Friendship Group. The gathering included senior officials, heads of diplomatic missions, business leaders, and members of the Maltese community residing in the UAE.
