Oil Prices Rise in Asian Markets

Singapore: Oil prices rose at the start of trading in Asian markets today, Tuesday. Brent crude futures increased by 30 cents, or 0.29%, reaching $104.51 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose by 31 cents, or 0.32%, to $98.38 as of 00:02 GMT. Both benchmarks had recorded an increase of about 2.8% in yesterday's session.According to Emirates News Agency, the increase in oil prices follows a trend observed in the previous session, where both Brent and West Texas Intermediate benchmarks marked a 2.8% rise.
