ABU DHABI, Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) in a letter has extended its solidarity with the UAE and strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attacks on civilian facilities in the country.
Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), received the letter signed by PAM’s 33 member states and 13 international organisations.
In the letter, PAM expressed its solidarity with the UAE’s government, people and parliament against attacks on its territories and confirmed its support for the efforts aimed at combatting all forms of terrorism, stressing such terrorist attacks threaten not only the UAE but also the Mediterranean countries.
PAM reiterated its condemnation of all forms of terrorism and highlighted its solidarity with the UAE, expressing its condolences to the victims’ families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
PAM is a parliamentary event that produces political, social, economic and cultural recommendations related to Mediterranean parliaments. It is also an international organisation with a specific legal international status.
