Abu dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast Thursday to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with some convective clouds bringing rain of varying intensity across several areas. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate but may become fresh to strong during cloud activity, potentially causing blowing dust and sand, which could reduce horizontal visibility.
According to Emirates News Agency, the NCM's daily statement highlighted that southeasterly to northeasterly winds are expected to reach speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, with possible gusts up to 60 km/h. The Arabian Gulf is anticipated to experience slight to moderate sea conditions, which may become rough during cloud activity. Similarly, the Sea of Oman is expected to have slight to moderate conditions, occasionally becoming rough during periods of cloud activity.
