Accra:Pope Leo XIV has announced that he will soon undergo surgery following the discovery of a nodule in his lung.
According to Emirates News Agency, the pope addressed worshippers at St. Peter's Square, revealing that the procedure has been scheduled and will occur in the coming days.
He reassured those present that the nodule was detected at a very early stage and is well localized.
