President of Kurdistan Region of Iraq Meets Outgoing UAE Consul General.

Erbil: Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, received Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Consul General of the UAE in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, at the Presidential Palace in Erbil. The meeting marked the end of Al Dhaheri's tenure in the region.According to Emirates News Agency, the outgoing UAE Consul General conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Barzani. They expressed their wishes for further progress and prosperity for his country and people.In response, President Barzani extended his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Barzani wished for further development and growth for the UAE government and its people.During the meeting, President Barzani praised the efforts made by Consul General Al Dhaheri in strengthening bilateral relations during his term. He also wished the Consul General success in his new assignments.The Consul General expressed gratitude to all government entities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq for their cooperation, which he noted positively contributed to the success of his mission in strengthening bilateral ties.
