Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, engaged in discussions with multiple international officials concerning the recent military escalation in the region. The discussions focused on the severe implications for regional and international security and stability and explored ways to resolve ongoing disputes through peaceful means.
According to Emirates News Agency, these discussions occurred during telephone calls received by the Qatari Prime Minister from Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic; Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China; and Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission.
The calls also addressed Qatar's condemnation of Iranian attacks on its territory, with the Qatari Prime Minister emphasizing that such actions are unacceptable under any justification or pretext. He reiterated Qatar's commitment to remaining neutral in regional conflicts and its efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community.
