Russia Takes Control of Two New Villages East of Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its forces have taken control of the villages of Progress and Yevgenovka in the Donetsk region, east of Ukraine.In a statement, the Ministry added that Ukrainian forces stationed in the two villages were targeted, along with their military equipment.It also said that Russian air defense systems shot down 5 HIMARS missiles, two guided bombs, and 34 drones.Source: Qatar News Agency
