Abu dhabi: Russian exports of agricultural products increased by 26% in value terms in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year, exceeding $20 billion, Head of the Federal Centre "Agroexport" Ilya Ilyushin said.
According to Emirates News Agency, Ilyushin highlighted the significant growth in exports, noting that grain and pulses saw a 43% rise. Additionally, oil and fat products increased by 22%, fish and seafood by 28%, dairy products by 20%, confectionery by 13%, and processed food products by 15%.
The surge in agricultural exports underscores Russia's expanding role in the global food market. As various sectors within agriculture continue to experience growth, the country is poised to strengthen its position as a key player in international trade.
