Tunis: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently held a meeting with Margarida Blasco, the Minister of Interior of the Portuguese Republic. The meeting took place during the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, where Minister Blasco was participating as a guest.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions between Sheikh Saif and Minister Blasco revolved around enhancing bilateral cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Portugal in the fields of security and policing. The two officials exchanged views on the significance of Arab-European relations, particularly in terms of combating various forms of crime. They highlighted the necessity of bolstering the exchange of expertise and knowledge to foster safer societies.
