Ras Al Khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Gevorg Papoyan, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, and his delegation at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The meeting was also attended by Karen Grigorian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, discussions during the meeting concentrated on enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Armenia in various sectors, with a focus on economy, trade, and investment. Both parties acknowledged the significance of promoting sustainable development and fostering economic progress in both countries.
Sheikh Saud commended the strong bilateral relations and the strengthening friendship between the UAE and Armenia. He highlighted the notable advancements achieved in key sectors as a result of this collaboration.
The dialogue also included discussions on the Armenian Forum 'Made in Armenia 2025', which is being hosted for the first time in Ras Al Khaimah with support from the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event features over 50 Armenian companies from various sectors and will continue until 22nd February.
Papoyan expressed gratitude to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his hospitality and reiterated Armenia's dedication to enhancing economic, trade, and investment ties with the UAE. He also acknowledged Ras Al Khaimah's impressive development and its increasing importance on both regional and global stages.
