Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, hosted Zhang Yiming, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The meeting marked a farewell call from the ambassador, who is concluding his tenure.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasized the significant bilateral relations between the UAE and China and expressed a strong desire to continue strengthening these ties to benefit mutual interests across various fields. The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah also acknowledged the efforts of the ambassador in fostering cooperation between the two nations and extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s future endeavors.
In response, Ambassador Zhang Yiming conveyed his deep gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Saud for the warm reception and hospitality. He recognized the growing strategic partnership between the UAE and China and praised the UAE’s prominent regional and international position. The ambassador also expressed appreciation for the cooperation and support he received throughout his service in the UAE.
