Security operation on the banks of al-Azim River in Diyala

A joint security force carried out a security operation in Hawi al-Azim, north of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that a joint security force carried out a security operation from two axes in Hawi al-Azim, north of Baqubah, which included combing the banks of Al-Azim River to a depth of 6 km.He added that the operation comes within the strategy of securing the border areas separating Salah al-Din Governorate to cut off the infiltration routes of terrorists.
