Sharjah Chamber Celebrates Partners and Launches Sharjah Chamber Museum

Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) hosted its annual ceremony to honor strategic partners and outstanding employees, with representatives from Expo Centre Sharjah and Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre (Tahkeem) in attendance. The event, which took place at the Sharjah Old Cars Club, also marked the inauguration of the "Sharjah Chamber Museum."

According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony recognized the achievements and efforts of honorees in meeting SCCI's strategic objectives, which align with Sharjah's developmental vision. The Sharjah Chamber Museum, unveiled during the event, serves as a documentation of the Chamber's contributions and milestones, offering a reference point for those in the economic and commercial sectors.

Distinguished attendees included Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, and other board members. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, and other key figures were also present.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais highlighted the Chamber's commitment to operational excellence and noted significant growth in performance metrics for 2025, including over 76,000 registered memberships and more than 90,000 certificates of origin issued. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa emphasized Expo Centre Sharjah's role in digital transformation and its successful hosting of major events, while Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi credited the Chamber's workforce for its growth achievements.

The ceremony also honored media professionals under the theme 'Voice for Media.' Amal Al Hosani, Head of Media and Marketing at SCCI, emphasized the importance of media partnerships in promoting Sharjah as a leading economic hub. The event concluded with honors presented to top-performing employees in various categories, celebrating their contributions to organizational performance.
