Sharjah Executive Council Forms Committee for Individuals Without Social Care

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), led the SEC meeting at the Ruler's Office, with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler and Vice Chairman of SEC, and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler and Vice Chairman of the SEC, in attendance.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting reviewed various agenda topics, focusing on monitoring the performance of government departments, assessing the latest developments in government work, and developing plans to enhance government service efficiency in Sharjah. Key decisions included the transfer and promotion of Abdullah Mohammed Obaid Al Kadeed to Director of Khorfakkan Municipality and Jassim Mohammed Ahmed Bouhendi to Deputy Director of the same municipality.

The SEC also announced the formation of the Permanent Committee for Individuals Without Social Care, led by Judge Dr. Omar Obaid Al Ghoul. The committee includes Major General Omar Ahmed Bu Al Zoud as Vice Chairman, along with several other members who will work collaboratively to address social care issues.

Additionally, the SEC reviewed a report on the Sharjah Health Authority's participation in the Global Health Exhibition 2026. This participation underscored the Authority's commitment to advancing healthcare and showcasing its initiatives. Over 100,000 visitors attended the Authority's pavilion, which displayed contributions from various departments and highlighted key partnerships and agreements aimed at improving public health and quality of life.
