Sharjah: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority has officially announced the renaming of the "Sharjah Media Training Center" to "Sharjah Media Academy" following the attainment of official academic accreditation in September last year. This marks a significant development as it becomes the first academy of its kind in the emirate, having obtained an educational license from the Sharjah Private Education Authority. This license ensures that its training certificates are now academically recognized and licensed.According to Emirates News Agency, the academy aims to elevate the standard of media training programs by offering a variety of courses and workshops that cover different fields of media. These offerings place a special focus on practical application, providing trainees with the opportunity to gain experience in an ideal training environment. Such preparation is designed to help individuals enter the world of media and journalism or to enhance the skills of current employees seeking to elevate their capabi lities in specific areas.The courses at Sharjah Media Academy are supervised by accredited trainers from the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, who bring extensive practical experience from the media sector.
