Sharjah Ruler directs equal treatment of female citizens’ children

SHARJAH: H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the Sharjah Department of Human Resources to treat employees in the Sharjah government who are children of female citizens in the Emirate like citizens, and to make them equal in government cadres, regardless of their birth before or after the mother obtained Emirati citizenship.The Sharjah Ruler's directive was announced during the "Direct Line" programme broadcast on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.Source: Emirates News Agency
