Sharjah: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) has ensured the availability of its publications at the House of Wisdom Library, a well-frequented public library, to disseminate studies and research conducted by its Knowledge Office. Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Director of the SSSD Knowledge Office, highlighted the importance of these publications in supporting decision-makers and educating the community.
According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Al Hammadi stated that the initiative aims to spread awareness and provide factual information derived from field research rather than generating profit. The publications address the real needs of the community, focusing on various groups such as children, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
The publications also explore social phenomena and family-related reports. Since 2017, the department has been offering these resources in public locations and publishing them monthly on its official website: sssd.shj.ae.
