Sharjah: The Sharjah Summer Promotions 2025 kicked off today, featuring AED3 million in prizes, under the theme "Exceptional Offers for an Unforgettable Summer." The event will run until 1st September, encompassing all cities and regions of the emirate.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) are organizing the campaign. Over 1,000 retail outlets, shopping centres, hotels, and tourist destinations are participating. The event is held in cooperation with the Shopping Malls Sector Business Group and coordinated with several government entities.
This year's edition includes more than 75 recreational events and exclusive discounts of up to 75 percent. It also features raffle draws with prizes totaling AED3 million. Highlights include six major draws with gold bars, luxury gifts, high-value vouchers, and instant rewards, scheduled on various dates throughout July and August, with the final draw on 1st September.
A new mascot, Shamsa, has been introduced to engage families and children, adding vibrancy to the summer season. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, remarked that the campaign is a strategic milestone in enhancing Sharjah's reputation as a leading destination for tourism and commerce. Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, emphasized the initiative's role in revitalizing retail and tourism in the emirate.
The promotions cover over 19 destinations, offering exclusive deals and a diverse entertainment schedule. Activities include educational workshops, summer camps, children's programs, and marine events in Khorfakkan, in collaboration with various entities such as Shurooq and the Sharjah Museums Authority.
More than 35 summer packages from 23 hotels offer discounted accommodation, dining, complimentary entry to attractions, and bonus credit for hotel services. The organizing committee has also launched a mobile app and a digital platform at www.shjsummer.ae. These tools provide real-time access to offers, events, hotel deals, and raffle draws, encouraging engagement and spending through exclusive prize draws.
