The Minister of Interior discusses with his Iranian counterpart the plan for the Arbaeen visit through the Shalamcheh border crossing

The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Ahmad Vahidi, at the Shalamcheh border crossing, in the presence of the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, and the head of the Security Committee in the Provincial Council, Aqil Al-Furaiji, to discuss the plan for the Arbaeen visit and the mechanism for facilitating the entry of visitors arriving to the holy Karbala.The Minister of Interior arrived in Basra Governorate yesterday evening, to review the security plan for the Arbaeen visit.Source: National Iraqi News Agency
