Abu dhabi: The UAE Accountability Authority has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Ecuador's specialised audit and anti-corruption institutions to bolster cooperation in audit and oversight, promote integrity, and advance efforts in combating corruption.
According to Emirates News Agency, the first MoU was signed with the Office of the Comptroller General of the State of Ecuador during the official visit of Dr. Mauricio Torres, Comptroller General of Ecuador. Dr. Torres was welcomed by Humaid Obaid Abu Shibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority.
Additionally, an MoU was signed with the Public Integrity of Ecuador, attended by Jos© Julio Neira Hanze, Secretary General of Public Integrity. This agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation in integrity and anti-corruption measures.
These agreements underscore the UAE Accountability Authority's dedication to expanding international partnerships, reinforcing transparency and accountability principles, and supporting effective audit and integrity frameworks.
