UAE and Paraguay Presidents Discuss Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Santiago Pe±a, President of the Republic of Paraguay, explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation aimed at supporting sustainable development and prosperity for both nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi during President Pe±a's official visit to the UAE. The leaders discussed potential collaborations across various sectors, including development, the economy, trade, renewable energy, food security, and climate action. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities that serve the common interests of the UAE and Paraguay.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlighted the UAE's efforts to diversify its economic and development partnerships. He emphasized fostering constructive cooperation with Latin American countries, particularly Paraguay, aligning with the UAE's approach to collective progress. The discussions also covered regional and international developments, with a specific focus on the Middle East. Both sides underscored the need to intensify efforts to promote global peace and stability.

President Pe±a expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and admired the UAE's significant development and strategic vision. The meeting was attended by several UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other key figures. The Paraguayan President was accompanied by a delegation.
