Abu dhabi: Rilian Technologies, a key player in cybersecurity and defense solutions, has announced a strategic contract with the United Arab Emirates Cybersecurity Council. This collaboration, in coordination with CPX Holding, aims to secure the nation's critical infrastructure.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative will utilize advanced technologies from both UAE-based and international partners, including Google Cloud. The agreement involves the UAE's National Security Operations Centre (NSOC) teaming up with Rilian Technologies to implement the Rilian Defense Platform (RDP). This platform is set to integrate, operate, and automate various cybersecurity solutions within operational technology systems, safeguarding essential infrastructure.
Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, highlighted the country's commitment to innovation over the past decade, emphasizing the agreement's role in protecting this vision. As the UAE advances its digital modernization, securing national assets and critical infrastructures has become a priority. CPX, alongside Rilian and its partners, will combine expertise in security operations, compliance, and automation to deliver an advanced security operations platform for the NSOC. This platform will offer real-time threat detection, automated incident response, and advanced analytics to bolster the country's digital infrastructure security.
The agreement also mandates Rilian and CPX to leverage advancements in managed OT technologies to develop AI agents. These agents will automate cyber threat solutions and assess risks to national critical infrastructure. Christian Schnedler, CEO of Rilian Technologies, expressed pride in partnering with CPX and international companies to enhance cyber resilience through cutting-edge technologies.
Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX Holding, remarked on the agreement's timing amid the evolving landscape of AI-driven cybersecurity. He noted that the collaboration would significantly boost the efficiency and effectiveness of Emirati security operations centers, enhancing the nation's capabilities in protecting critical infrastructure.
