Beijing: A United Arab Emirates (UAE) delegation, led by Climate Change and Environment Minister, Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, concluded a four-day visit to China, aimed at strengthening cooperation on climate action, sustainable agriculture, and food security, the UAE government announced yesterday.
According to Nam News Network, the visit, held from July 7 to 10, included meetings with prominent Chinese institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tsinghua University, and the Beijing Tongzhou International Seed Industry Science and Technology Centre.
Discussions during the visit centered on sustainable agriculture, circular economy practices, and innovations in seed science, smart breeding, dairy production, and tropical farming. The meetings aimed to promote knowledge exchange and collaborative efforts between the two nations in these critical areas.
