Buenos aires: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Buenos Aires has expressed its approval following the Argentine Republic’s decision to label several branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt as terrorist organizations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the designation is based on official reports highlighting these branches’ involvement in illicit transnational activities. These activities include terrorist acts, public calls for extremism, and connections to established terrorist organizations.
In a formal statement, the UAE Embassy emphasized that Argentina’s decision is indicative of ongoing and systematic efforts to counteract violence and the destabilizing activities conducted by these branches of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Embassy reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting international endeavors aimed at combating extremism and terrorism, as well as enhancing regional and international security and stability.
