Tbilisi: The UAE Embassy in Tbilisi held a celebration to mark the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad, attended by more than 400 guests, including senior figures, government officials, business leaders, diplomats, and several Emirati students who are studying in Georgia. The ceremony was attended by Levan Davitashvili, First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.According to Emirates News Agency, Levan Davitashvili emphasised the growing importance of bilateral relations between the UAE and Georgia, and congratulated the UAE's leadership and nation on the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. During his speech, Ahmed Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Georgia, emphasised the UAE's achievements and vision for a brighter future. His Excellency also commended the relationship between the UAE and Georgia, particularly the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to enhance trade and investment, as well as the inauguration of the Tbilisi Dry Port project by Abu D habi Ports, which will enhance connectivity and economic growth in both countries.The UAE and Georgia share deep-rooted relations, with an increase of trade exchanges in recent years. The UAE is one of Georgia's most significant economic partners and its leading economic partner in the Middle East.
