Zhuhai: The United Arab Emirates is set to make a significant impact at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition 2024 by showcasing its promising aviation and aerospace sectors. The 15th edition of the prestigious event, scheduled for November 12-17 in Zhuhai, China, will serve as a platform for the UAE to highlight its technological prowess and strategic partnerships.
According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE’s participation is being organized by the Emirates Defense Companies Council, with support from the Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council. The UAE National Pavilion will feature a diverse range of advanced products and solutions from leading national companies. This participation underscores the country’s commitment to innovation and its ability to deliver cutting-edge defense technologies to global markets.

Throughout the show, EDGE Group and Calidus Aerospace LLC will showcase advanced products and solutions, highlighting the companies’ technical expertise and the progress reached in delivering state-of-the-art defense technologies to global markets.
Muammar Abdulla Abushahab, CEO of Tawazun Council, emphasized the importance of the UAE’s participation in the Airshow China: “Our involvement aligns with our commitment to strengthening the UAE’s position in the defense and security sectors. In collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Tawazun Council supports national companies in showcasing their advanced capabilities and innovative products, in line with the vision of our wise leadership to enable the UAE’s defense and security industries.”

He also highlighted the remarkable progress in economic and industrial relations between both countries in recent years, adding, “China is a vital partner for the UAE, and through our participation in this exhibition, we aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand partnership opportunities between our countries.”
Anas Nasser Al Otaiba, General Manager of the EDCC, stressed how this event enhances the UAE defense sector’s global standing. “Our participation at the Airshow China highlights the strength of Emirati innovation and the ability of national companies to compete in international markets. We aim to present the locally developed and manufactured products and solutions, showcasing the creativity and dedication driven by our people.”
