Kuwait City: Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, highlighted the enduring and evolving relationship between the UAE and Kuwait, emphasizing the significant attention and support provided by the leadership of both countries.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Neyadi remarked on the sidelines of the Arab Media Forum in Kuwait that the reciprocal high-level visits between the two nations demonstrate the robust nature of their relationship. He referenced the fifth session of the UAE-Kuwaiti Joint Higher Committee, which took place last September in Abu Dhabi, where numerous agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed, showcasing the mutual aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
The ambassador also pointed out the increase in non-oil trade between the UAE and Kuwait in the first quarter of this year compared to the same timeframe last year. He attributed this growth to the mounting interest from investors, businesspeople, and the private sector in exploring investment opportunities across various sectors.
Al Neyadi expressed his satisfaction with the UAE being chosen as the Guest of Honour at the 20th edition of the Arab Media Forum. He highlighted the UAE's advancements in the media sector, noting its belief in media as a crucial partner in fostering a knowledge- and innovation-driven society, which plays a significant role in enhancing the UAE's regional and global presence.
The ambassador noted the importance of the UAE's participation in Kuwait, which includes a high-level media delegation from both public and private sectors. Led by Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, this participation underscores the UAE's commitment to the forum and its role in shaping future directions for both Arab and international media.
The UAE's recognition as the Guest of Honour at the Arab Media Forum, with a distinguished delegation from governmental and private media sectors, underscores the country's reputable standing and its progressive media sector.
