Port vila: Dr. Fahad Obaid Al Tafaq, the UAE Ambassador to Australia and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Solomon Islands and the Independent State of Samoa, has officially presented his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Vanuatu to President Nikenike Vurobaravu.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Tafaq conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. They extended their wishes for continued development and prosperity for Vanuatu's government and people.
President Vurobaravu reciprocated with greetings to the UAE leaders, expressing his wishes for further progress and development for the UAE government and its people. He also expressed hope for the ambassador's success in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields.
Al Tafaq expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Vanuatu and highlighted his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across different sectors. This, he noted, would contribute to consolidating the ties between both nations.
During their meeting, both parties discussed current areas of cooperation and explored ways to develop these to meet the interests and aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
