Doha: The draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, scheduled to take place from November 3 to 27, 2025, has placed the UAE in Group C, alongside Senegal, Croatia, and Costa Rica.
According to Emirates News Agency, the draw occurred in Doha on Sunday, May 25, with assistance from Julian Draxler, a 2014 FIFA World Cup winner with Germany, and former Qatar U-17 player Abdulaziz Al Sulaiti. This edition of the tournament is newly-expanded to feature 48 nations for the first time, organized into 12 groups of four teams each.
The tournament promises several intriguing match-ups, including a notable clash between Belgium and Argentina, the hosts Qatar facing Italy, and defending champions Germany competing against Colombia. Other group distributions include Qatar in Group A alongside Italy, South Africa, and Bolivia; Group D featuring Argentina, Belgium, Tunisia, and Fiji; and Group G with Germany, Colombia, North Korea, and El Salvador.
