Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a Federal Decree appointing Fahad Al Gergawi as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
According to Emirates News Agency, Fahad Al Gergawi has a background that includes graduation from the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development. He has held several leadership roles, such as CEO of the Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI), CEO of the Dubai Foreign Investment Office (DFI), and CEO of the Trade and Industry Development Department at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In addition to his executive roles, Al Gergawi has chaired several international and local committees and programmes. His leadership roles have extended to the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and the Dubai Government international missions programme for investment attraction, among others.
