Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a written message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, inviting him to attend the upcoming GCC-US Summit scheduled to take place in Riyadh later this month.
According to Emirates News Agency, the message was received by Omar Obaid Alshamsi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was held with Sultan bin Abdullah Al Angari, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the UAE.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the strong fraternal relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. They explored ways to further develop these relations and reviewed enhancing joint cooperation across various sectors to achieve mutual interests, progress, and prosperity for both nations and their peoples.
