UAE Reinforces Fight Against Human Trafficking with Advanced Technologies

Abu dhabi: Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the National Committee for Combatting Human Trafficking, has reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to combating human trafficking, describing it as a violation of human dignity.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Nuaimi made his remarks on the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, observed annually on 30th July. He emphasized that the UAE is continuously developing an integrated national digital framework rooted in justice, transparency, and the protection of human rights.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the country's focus on utilizing modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to speed up procedures and enhance coordination among relevant authorities. He pointed out that these efforts are crucial in alleviating the suffering of victims and ensuring that perpetrators face justice.

He further emphasized the importance of strong international cooperation in effectively addressing this global issue. He reiterated the UAE's commitment to strengthening partnerships with other countries and international organizations, as well as sharing expertise and information to build a unified front against human trafficking.

Al Nuaimi concluded by stressing that the elimination of this crime requires shared responsibility and collective global action.
