UAE Secures Two Gold Medals in Arab Women’s Sailing Championship.

UAE: The UAE national women's sailing team claimed four medals at the first Arab Women's Sailing Championship, which concluded in Manama. Eight teams participated in the event, and the UAE emerged at the top of the overall rankings with an impressive haul.According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE team's success included two gold medals won by Marwa Al Hammadi, in addition to two silver medals, one each by Kamelia Al Qubaisi and Madiya Al Neyadi. This achievement highlights the significant efforts of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation led by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan. Mohammed Abdullah Al Obaidli, Secretary-General of the federation, emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination with marine clubs in achieving this success.The championship, organized by the Bahrain Maritime Sports Association and the Arab Sailing Federation, marked a milestone in promoting women's sailing in the region. The event's success and the UAE's outstanding performance underscore the growing pr ominence of women's sports in the Arab world.
