Al Ain: The Bachelor of Science in Biology programme at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has received international accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology for a period of five years. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the university, emphasizing its commitment to delivering high-quality education and preparing graduates for successful careers in biological sciences.
According to Emirates News Agency, Prof. Maamar Benkraouda, Dean of the College of Science, highlighted the importance of this accreditation. He noted that the Royal Society of Biology’s process involves a rigorous evaluation, assessing the quality of degree programmes against stringent criteria. This ensures that graduates possess a solid academic foundation in biological knowledge and essential skills to meet high standards of quality and competence.
