UN Envoy Announces Timeline for Libya’s Structured Dialogue Report

New york: Hanna S. Tetteh, UN Secretary General's Special Representative for Libya, revealed that the UN-facilitated structured dialogue is set to deliver preliminary recommendations by the end of April, with a comprehensive final report due in early June. This initiative aims to establish a foundation for a unified national vision and guide political and economic reforms crucial for the country's national elections.

According to Emirates News Agency, Tetteh briefed the UN Security Council, highlighting that the dialogue is focused on four primary tracks: security, governance, the economy, and reconciliation and human rights. This multifaceted approach is designed to address the key issues facing Libya and facilitate a pathway towards national stability.

Tetteh called on the Security Council to leverage its influence to ensure all Libyan parties are committed to the established roadmap. She emphasized that the structured dialogue process is pivotal in creating the stability necessary for Libya's prosperous and democratic future.
