Washington: The US Air Force’s presidential and VIP fleet is set for a makeover, with a new color scheme directed by President Donald Trump. The fleet, which includes aircraft used to transport the president and other senior officials, will see a departure from the traditional light blue and white design that dates back to President John F. Kennedy’s administration.
According to Anadolu Agency, the new design will feature a palette of dark navy, deep red, and gold tones, reflecting President Trump’s preferences. This change will be implemented during routine maintenance and repair periods of the aircraft. The update is not limited to the presidential aircraft, commonly referred to as Air Force One when the president is on board, but extends to the smaller C-32 planes used for transporting high-ranking officials, including senior Cabinet members.
