Dubai:This holiday season, Expo City Dubai's Winter City is set for its most magical edition yet through a partnership with Disney+. The event, themed 'Once upon a holiday…', aims to bring beloved stories and characters to life for families and visitors from across the UAE and beyond.
According to Emirates News Agency, Winter City, now in its fifth edition, promises unique experiences crafted in collaboration with Disney+. Visitors can enjoy themed zones inspired by popular stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, and more, including festive favorites such as Frozen, Toy Story, and Home Alone.
Running from December 11 to 31, the event will feature popular Winter City attractions, including snow under the Al Wasl Dome, letter-sending to Santa, and meet-and-greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Spectacular projections and festive surprises will enhance the experience, reinforcing its status as a top winter destination in the UAE and the region.
Amna Abulhoul, Executive Creative Director at Expo City Dubai, expressed excitement for the collaboration, noting it allows families to explore beloved Disney stories while enjoying Winter City's offerings. Tamim Fares, Director at Disney+ Middle East, highlighted the event as a way for families to step into their favorite worlds and celebrate the joy of shared stories.
The event promises more surprises as opening day approaches, with festive music, curated food and beverage options, and special touches planned to make every visit memorable.
