YouTube Hosts Extensive Sessions at 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026

Dubai: YouTube is hosting an array of keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world's largest event dedicated to the content creator economy.

According to Emirates News Agency, YouTube's dedicated area at the Summit, known as YouTube House, is set to host a lineup of events aimed at empowering creators in their journeys. Tarek Amin, Regional Director of YouTube in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, expressed pride in YouTube's long-standing partnership with the Summit and highlighted the expanded offerings this year, including expert talks featuring Pedro Pina, Vice President of YouTube for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Summit will feature high-level keynotes from YouTube's leadership. On the first day, Pedro Pina will discuss the platform's strategy and future plans for supporting the creator economy. Following this, a panel discussion moderated by Javid Aslanov, Head of YouTube in MENA, will explore brand opportunities on YouTube. On the third day, Tarek Amin will join a panel with the creators of Yes Theory to discuss building strong communities on the platform.

The YouTube House will host sessions and panels where creators can exchange knowledge and success stories. An inspiring fireside chat titled "The Road to Success" will feature Khalid Al Ameri, a renowned Emirati storyteller and content creator. Additionally, the panel "Building a Brand with the Power of Your Community" will focus on the role of community in brand building.

Several sessions will address the impact of AI on content creation. A panel discussion titled "Breaking the Norm: The Impact of A.I. Content Creation" will feature Hashem Al-Ghaili, known for making complex scientific concepts accessible. Amine Khalil will host a workshop on AI and the efficiency of YouTube's content creation tools.

Creators will also explore turning passions into sustainable careers through discussions like "Value Proposition of YouTube in the World of Brand Deals," featuring Omar Aburob, a Jordanian content creator known for his narrative style and cultural analysis.
