The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of four people accused of terrorism in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law in Baghdad and Anbar.
The Intelligence Directorate said in a statement, “With separate preemptive operations and according to accurate intelligence information from the leadership divisions of the Sixth, Tenth, and Seventeenth Divisions of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and in cooperation with the ground forces present in the areas of responsibility, precise ambushes were set up in Al-Mazraa neighborhood, Al-Falahat area, and the Falcons and Al-Tahadi checkpoints.”
The statement added, "The operations resulted in the arrest of (4) defendants accused of terrorism in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law in Karkh and the districts of Fallujah and Tarmiyah, who belonged to ISIS terrorist gangs. They were handed over to the requested authorities on duly basis.
