The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused some of the security services in Sulaymaniyah of cooperating with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that "a group from the Anti-Terrorism Service affiliated with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan was training with groups affiliated with Workers' Party militants at the airport. This is what we see as a dangerous development."
The Turkish Foreign Ministry called on the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan government to fight terrorism in an honest and concrete manner and to recognize the Workers’ Party as a terrorist organization.
