Oil Prices Fell by More Than 1 Percent at Tuesday’s Trading

Oil prices fell by more than 1 percent at the close of todays trading, ending at the lowest level in seven weeks.Futures contracts for Brent crude for October delivery decreased by $1.15, or 1.4 percent, settling at $78.63 per barrel.Futures contracts for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil fell by $1.08, or 1.4 percent, closing at $74.73 per barrel.This closing price is the lowest for both benchmark crudes since Jun.5, 2023.Source: Qatar News Agency
