Yemeni forces shoot down US drone, release wreckage footage

The Yemeni military on Sunday released footage of the wreckage of a US MQ-9 drone to have shot down earlier in the day over Sa'ada province.The armed forces said the drone was carrying out hostile operations in the area when it was intercepted and downed by a locally-made surface-to-air missile.Source: Yemen News Agency
